Benefiting the Young Women’s Leadership Academy Foundation of Fort Worth

Join us for the First Annual Rise to Run, a community 5K and 1-mile fun run/walk benefiting the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth.

This community event invites runners, walkers, families, and supporters to come together to support and empower young women through education and leadership opportunities.

The foundation supports students at the Young Women’s Leadership Academy of Fort Worth, an all-girls public college-preparatory school dedicated to preparing future leaders. Funds raised help provide leadership programming, college readiness experiences, mentorship opportunities, and academic enrichment.

Whether you are a competitive runner or simply looking for a meaningful way to support the community, Run to Rise is open to everyone. Bring your friends, family members, coworkers, and neighbors and help us make our first annual race a lasting community tradition.

Starting Times

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – 8:00 AM
5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) – 8:15 AM

Race Day Registration and Race Day Packet Pickup begin at 6:30 AM at the race site.

Registration Fees

Early Bird (Online by April 3)
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – free!
5K Run/Walk – $25

Standard Registration (Online by April 20)
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – $5
5K Run/Walk – $30

Race Day Registration
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – $10
5K Run/Walk – $35

Race shirts are not included with registration. However, shirts may be purchased during the registration process for $12 each (sizes XXL+ are $15) and are available to order until April 20th.

First 250 registered finishers will receive a custom finisher medal.

Packet Pickup

There will be no early packet pickup.

Race Day packet pickup will take place at the race site beginning at 6:30 AM.

5K Awards

Awards will be presented to the following categories:

Overall Awards: Overall Male, Overall Female, Overall Master Male, Overall Master Female, Overall Male 18 and Under, and Overall Female 18 and under

Age Groups: 12 & Under, 13–15, 16–18, 19–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80 & Over

First 250 registered finishers will receive a medal.

Timing and Results

Race results will be chip-timed by Cox Racing Services.
